Returning Steam to the Avon Valley

River Avon Scenic Boat Trips

Sailing the River Avon To make the most of your visit to the railway, why not enjoy a relaxing 40 minute scenic boat trip through the Avon valley?

Leave the steam train at Avon Riverside and take a short walk to the landing stage where ‘River Princess’ will be waiting for you. Sit back and enjoy the scenery and wildlife as you make your way through delightful parts of the countryside unreachable by other forms of transport.

The ‘River Princess’ seats up to 60 people and comes complete with disabled access and toilet facilities.

Advance bookings for the joint train and boat service can be made by contacting the Booking Office on 0117 932 5538. Coach parties and group visits are particularly welcome.
