More than just a nostalgic experience, the Avon Valley Railway now offers not simply a train ride but the opportunity to explore the delights of the river valley.
Train rides begin at Bitton Station and run between Oldland Common and Avon Riverside Station - A round trip of almost six miles. Within a short distance of Avon Riverside you can find country walks, a picnic area, pubs and river boat trips.

Meanwhile, back at Bitton Station itself, you can indulge in nostalgia with tea & cakes from our buffetor make a visit to the souvenir shop. Altogether, a day out to remember.
